ORTUS RECRUITMENT_ are working with an Ofsted rated _'Good' _Primary School in the heart of Brent. This role is based in Neasden, a vibrant and diverse area in North West London. You will be part of a vibrant and friendly community and have access to excellent transport links.

If you are looking for a rewarding role in Early Years Education, then this is the perfect opportunity for you As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the EYFS teacher and pupils in the classroom.

You will also be responsible for helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for the children.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to work well in a team and has excellent communication skills.

You must also be creative and able to use your initiative to create engaging activities for the children.

Main Responsibilities:

Ability to take initiative, be proactive and enthusiastic
Build up positive rapports with pupils and staff
Work alongside class teachers to manage classroom behaviour, keep classrooms organised and liaise with parents/carers
Support on a 1:1 basis with SEN pupils
Lead numeracy, phonics and literacy interventions in small groups to raise low attainment levels
Knowledge of the EYFS framework
