    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Training and Development Specialist to join our Human Resources team in London. In this role you will be an integral part of our Training and Development team, contributing to a culture that values continuous learning, growth, and well-being.

    Responsibilities:

    Training Program Design and Maintenance:

  • Create and implement comprehensive training and mentoring programs aligned with the specific needs of our EMEA Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Corporate Divisions.
  • Design supplemental training resources to accompany existing course offerings.
  • Manage digital learning platforms including the creation of bespoke learning pathways.
  • Stay informed of industry trends to adapt training programs accordingly, modify content to accommodate changes in the financial landscape.
  • Establish additional feedback mechanisms to gather input from participants and stakeholders.
  • Regularly evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and build relationships with best-in-class external training providers to supplement internal learning offerings.
  • Training Program Coordination:

  • Responsible for EMEA training logistics including, but not limited to, room bookings, calendar invitations, communications, and tracking attendance.
  • Facilitate training program kick-offs, introduce program faculty, and moderate panel discussions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback and making continuous improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, feedback, and provide suggestions to enhance the effectiveness of our programs.
  • Manage New Hire Welcome Day for EMEA new joiners on a bi-monthly cadence.
  • Responsible for managing and tracking EMEA training budget and contracting process with external providers.
  • Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Partner closely with the business to identify skill gaps across divisions to enhance existing training curriculums.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and HR Business Partners to ensure training content for all audiences is relevant, up-to-date, and addresses the learning needs of the business.
  • Work with employees to create personalized development plans, offering existing resources and support for ongoing learning.
  • Work closely with the broader Human Resources team including the Business Partners, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Team, Recruiting, and HR Operations Team to advertise EMEA training and development offerings.
  • Wellness:

  • Enhance existing wellness programs aimed at promoting mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with external experts to design and coordinate wellness webinars, workshops, and fitness classes.
  • Build awareness of wellness initiatives for EMEA by engaging employees through various communication channels.
  • Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of wellness programs and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • + years of experience as a Training and Development Specialist or similar role, preferably in the financial services sector
  • Strong understanding of effective learning principles and training methodologies
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with different Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
