Experienced One-to-One Teaching Assistant

Overview:

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced One-to-One Teaching Assistant to support a child with challenging behaviour in a mainstream primary school in St.

Helens. This is a full-time, long-term role requiring commitment and dedication to the child's development and well-being.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support to a child with challenging behaviour in a mainstream primary school setting.
Assist the child with academic tasks and activities as directed by the class teacher.
Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions to support the child's learning and social development.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for the child to thrive

Requirements:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school or a similar educational setting.

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience from a Care/Special Needs background will also be considered.

Ability to commit to a full-time role with hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
Patience, empathy, and resilience to work with children with challenging behaviour.
