Overview
2Fawcett are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a company located in Manchester on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller
- Debtor chasing
- Releasing orders throughout the day
- Managing customer credit limits and making credit decisions
- Supporting customer queries
- Taking payments by debit or credit card
- Working with other departments to resolve the issues
- Preparing and issuing multiple statement runs
- Invoice processing
- Maximising cash collection
- Preparing for monthly debtor meetings with sales leaders
Requirements of the Credit Controller
- Previous experience within a Credit Control role
- Ability to quickly form relationships with clients
- Excellent telephone manner
- MS Office
- Experience dealing with high volume accounts
- Experience of updating customer activity notes in a finance software
