    Role Overview:

    We are in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated Operations Associate who will contribute to an exciting chapter of our growth ambitions. This is a pivotal role that involves taking charge of our import processes and supporting in development of new practices. We are looking for a motivated and organised self-starter that is not afraid of doing data entries on a day-to-day basis but is also eager to improve the department and work closely with management and the tech team to transform processes.

    Given the natural crossover nature of our business, an understanding of the fine wine market is critical.

    Responsibilities:

    Imports and Warehouse Coordination

    • Oversee the day-to-day practices of landing stock in our warehouse.
    • Take ownership of data entries and land the stock correctly.
    • Identify discrepancies or shortages, and coordinate with relevant teams to plan stock replacement.
    • Plan and track inbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with customs regulations, and timely delivery.
    • Point of liaison between Suppliers and BI Teams for process changes, escalations, communications etc.
    • Responsible for inventory validation in local warehouse and ensuring inventory data is correct in warehouses

    Technological Advancement & Innovation

    • Support the implementation and maintenance of stock landing systems and procedures, ensuring accurate data entry and efficient processes.
    • Support the operation with new initiatives, changes and product launches that will be implemented with your detailed ownership and oversight of the operational readiness to ensure these are embedded well.
    • Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity.
    • Actively develop system and process improvements within and between warehouse elements.
    • Work cross-functionally with tech and management teams to develop optimised warehouse processes and support the technological development of the team.

    Requirements:

    • Good knowledge of wines.
    • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
    • Effective communication skills, confident in stakeholder management, and proactive in solving problems.
    • Ability to commute to our London head offices.
