Description

The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining up to date records for incident, accident and near miss reporting
  • Ensuring SSOW is adhered to and continuously updated
  • Providing appropriate PPE to site members
  • Carrying out site inductions and training
  • Assisting with external compliance audits
  • Chair the Health and Safety committee meetings
  • Researching changes in legislation and implementing new procedures to stay compliant with regulations

Skills and Experience

  • Graduate level IOSH qualification or above
  • Previous experience implementing Health & Safety cultural change
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Previous experience within a Health & Safety role would be beneficial ideally within a multisite business
