Facilities Manager - Peterborough - 50,000/60,000


ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Facilities Manager with immediate effect for our market leading client based in Peterborough.

Senior Facility Manager duties;

  • Develop, lead and implement the FM strategy for the business
  • Work with the senior leadership team to identify priorities and implement key initiatives
  • Build good working relationships with the Facilities Coordinators and Maintenance Operatives as well as the Centre Management teams and Property Asset Managers.
  • Familiarise yourself with the sites by frequent visits.
  • Identify and produce relevant KPIs to assess the performance of the FM function; develop and implement performance improvement plans.
  • Work on the continuous improvement of the Facilities Management function within the business

Processes

  • Ensure quotes from external contractors are obtained and processed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure any statutory servicing / inspections are undertaken.
  • Maintain communication with the FM team, maintenance team and contractors to ensure works are completed by target dates.
  • Ensure once works have been completed that all applicable documentation and certificates are provided
  • Ensure progress trackers are updated and clear.
  • Ensure Centre Management teams are kept updated throughout.

Reactive Repairs

  • Review and constantly improve the reactive repair process.
  • Ensure all reactive queries are dealt with in a timely manner, identifying what works need to be undertaken and allocating to internal Maintenance Operatives or external contractors as applicable.
  • Oversee quotes being obtained and processed for approval.
  • Manage and communicate with the maintenance team and external contractors to ensure works are completed by target dates.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation and certificates are provided once works have been completed.
  • Ensure progress trackers are updated and clear
  • Provide clear and timely updates to the Centre Management team throughout.
