Details of the Role:

  • Lead the day to day credit analysis of new transactions and oversee a consistent approach to assessing transactions across the secure income business including; long income property, property lending and renewables
  • Responsible for ensuring the continued financial and credit reviews of existing exposures including attending tenant and / or borrower meetings
  • Responsible for ensuring regular reviews of existing sector exposures and leading research initiatives into new sectors
  • Lead on internal credit committees for tenant, borrower and sector exposures for new transactions and monitoring updates
  • Experienced credit background with a good understanding of sub investment grade covenants and structured finance
  • Ideally experience of illiquid / real estate long income transactions
  • Previous experience of overseeing a team of analysts and associates
  • Knowledge of real estate or the DB pensions industry or insurance industry would be beneficial but is not essential
