_Woburn Safari Park is home to some of the world's most magnificent and endangered animals. The park consists of a Foot Safari, Road Safari, retail and catering outlets and is enjoyed by families looking for a fun day out. It is also home to The Safari Lodge, a unique events venue._

We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Animal Keeper to join the Carnivores department.

Working with Lions, Tigers, Bears and Wolves, the post-holder will be expected to report and advise on husbandry and staff safety matters, via the Head of Section.

You will also ensure the Departments and the Park's objectives are the driving force behind all activities within the Carnivore section, including to ensure the best possible customer experience is delivered.

You will have previous experience of working with Carnivores or within a similar environment.

A Zoo Animal Management qualification or equivalent is essential.

Driving is a fundamental requirement of the role, therefore you must hold a full current driving licence.

A valid Shotgun/Firearms licence is required, or you should be willing to obtain one.

The successful applicant should demonstrate a passion for animal welfare and conservation, be highly motivated, flexible and committed to Woburn Safari Park's high standards of husbandry and welfare.

Applicants will need to be flexible as regular peak time working is required to meet the needs of the business.

This includes weekends, school holidays and Bank Holidays.
