    The RSC is looking to recruit a Casual Estates Support Assistant in a busy and engaging role based in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role is to provide holiday and sickness cover for key Estates functions and ensure that during periods of staff absence – a high level of customer service and building safety and security is achieved.

    You will be required to work at Stage Door and on Reception at our offices located at 39 Waterside. You will also play a vital role in the evacuation procedures for the theatre and administrative offices.

    Other duties include:

  • To provide excellent customer service to visitors to 39 Waterside and the RST
  • To operate the switchboard phone systems. Greeting callers and dealing with enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • To welcome all visitors, staff, and company to the RST or 39 Waterside offices in a courteous manner and deal with their enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Issue visitor passes as appropriate
  • To play a key role in the building evacuation plans – following set procedures that include sharing key information via radio system calmly and efficiently and managing assembly points during evacuations.
  • Conducting 999 calls as required
