    A leading company in the aviation industry is looking for a "Head of US Airports Affairs", to be located in London or Madrid.

    This role is responsible for setting the strategic direction regarding government affairs, regulatory compliance, and strategic relationship management.

    The primary focus is to oversee all regulatory and policy matters affecting the airline's operations, with particular emphasis on managing airport charges at key regulated airports in the United States.

    The scope includes overseeing economic regulation and aeronautical regulations on American airports ensuring return on investments on airports infrastructures.
    Manage and cultivate relationships with Regulatory Bodies, Civil Aviation Authorities, Government departments, ministries, and global institutions.
    Participate in multilateral air service negotiations maintaining government relationships, monitoring policy developments, and representing the company's interests.

    Engaging with the airport in the airport affairs, real estate, regulatory, and government affairs arena, demonstrating a deep understanding of airport operations and the regulatory frameworks the airports operate in.

    Manage policy issues and establish relationships with key stakeholders, press agencies, and regulatory bodies within the aviation industry.
    Monitor airports performance and economic regulation ensuring return on investments (ROI).

    Set and execute an airline strategy taking into account the legal environment the airports operate, and financial and investment analysis related to airport, infrastructure and real estate projects.
