- Be a Key Worker for a small group of children in the baby room
- Provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment with an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences for the youngest members of the setting
- Implement the daily routine within the room
- Build warm and caring relationships with Key Children and their parents/carers and work in partnership to have a positive impact on children's development and learning experiences
- Monitor and record the progress and daily activities of Key Children
- Maintain excellent learning, developmental & achievement records and provide regular updates for parents/carers
- Work with colleagues to provide outstanding quality childcare and to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
- Follow key areas of the EYFS
- Follow and implement all nursery policies and procedures
- A minimum level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification is essential for this role
