    Salary: up to £22,000 to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience

    Company Overview:

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced & qualified Childcare Practitioner to undertake the role of Key Worker in the baby room at our clients welcoming and supportive nursery, proudly located within the heart of a vibrant and affluent residential area. This amazing nursery has undergone an impressive refurbishment and features a sensory room and a fantastic outdoor garden area.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities for our Key Worker:

    • Be a Key Worker for a small group of children in the baby room
    • Provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment with an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences for the youngest members of the setting
    • Implement the daily routine within the room
    • Build warm and caring relationships with Key Children and their parents/carers and work in partnership to have a positive impact on children's development and learning experiences
    • Monitor and record the progress and daily activities of Key Children
    • Maintain excellent learning, developmental & achievement records and provide regular updates for parents/carers
    • Work with colleagues to provide outstanding quality childcare and to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
    • Follow key areas of the EYFS
    • Follow and implement all nursery policies and procedures

    Essential Skills and Experience Required for our Key Person:

    • A minimum level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification is essential for this role
    • Previous experience of working in an Early Years setting
    • Excellent communication skills
    • A passion to make learning fun through engaging activities
    • An excellent understanding of the EYFS
    Good knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection
