MRFS are a Fire and Security installation and maintenance company. They install and maintain security systems such as fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, door entry systems, etc. They provide a 24/7 response to any issues arising at ourcustomer's properties.
MRFS have a strong Service team that work closely with their Service Engineers and suppliers to offer the highest standard of service to our customers.


As Service Desk Co-ordinator you will be working closely with the other members of the Service department, and with our Service Engineers.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and assist with their enquiry accordingly.
  • Ensure all new calls are logged and allocated to engineers in a timely manner
  • Effectively plan engineers' callouts to customers and ensure the work is allocated effectively, monitoring through to completion.
  • Continually communicate with customers should any problems arise on site
  • Produce quotations for any required remedial/small works.
  • Laise with our suppliers to obtain price and availability of parts.
  • Raise invoices for chargeable works completed by the Service Engineers.
  • Book routine maintenance visits, call outs, and updating keyholder details.
  • Organise work and time efficiently, and to work supportively within the team.

Person Specification

  • At least 1 year of working within a Customer Service role (desirable).
  • Showcase excellent customer service.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Prioritise workload.
  • Good organisational skills A great team player.
  • Excellent telephone manner, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
