Payroll Assistant
Type:
Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid Working (Monday to Friday)
Netwirking Recruitment are working with an award-winning finance practice in Newcastle who are providing proactive advice to businesses looking to raise growth and development capital, refinance, acquire or sell, requires a Payroll Assistatnt to join theirteam.
The key duties of the role are:
- Preparing weekly and monthly payrolls for various clients, including submission to HMRC and pension regulators
- Checking own inputs to ensure accuracy and using software to create paperless files for review.
- Payroll processing incudes all elements of payroll, such as court orders, student loans, pensions deductions, auto enrolment notices and letters and answering queries from clients.
- Ensuring data accuracy and quality of output is of the very highest standard.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential, while remaining flexible and adaptable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
