THE CLIENT

My client are an industry leader in detection technology, providing cargo and vehicle inspection systems and services for ports, borders, military, high-threat facilities, and checkpoints to help customers combat terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud.

THE ROLE

This temporary role will contribute to the production of all Cargo security systems routing, wiring, assembling, and installing electrical and electronic components to a very high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Routes, wires, assembles, and installs electrical and electronic components in a mobile truck system and fixed or gantry rail systems:Such as main junction and terminal boxes, main control switch panels and CCTV cameras, to specifications, using jig boards, hand tools/power tools, (drills, etc.)
Reads drawings and on occasions, schematics to specifications, to determine established assembly methods.
Working with 240v and 415v experience, also working with Cat5 cable would be advantageous.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications are not essential but relevant handson experience in a rapidly changing environment is essential.
Attention to detail and production of a quality item are vital skills.
Experience of working with 240v and 415v also working with Cat5 cable would be advantageous.
