  • Work with the other department heads to develop and maintain good procedures and practice Ensure company ISO and Regulatory standards are met and upheld.
  • Uphold the companies Health and Safety Policies and maintain a high level of vigilance
  • Provide management reports to senior management
  • Run KPI reports and publish to management team

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
  • Continual review of layout and efficient space utilisation
  • Identify, initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure all warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements are met
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Support and enhance the warehouse team's skills and knowledge through internal and external training and development.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal support functions.
  • Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Recruit, select, coach, and motivate employees
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (throughput, space, and aged stockholding etc)
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
  • Be responsible for ordering and maintaining warehouse stationary and packing materials.
  • Ensure that the team accurately maintain the Various stock databases
  • Undertake an annual stock take with accuracy level of 99.99%
  • Minimise any damage to stock

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
