- Supporting the Partner and Associate Directors in managing the transaction, from origination to completion
- Financial modelling for transactions, including structuring and analysis
- Valuation techniques such as trading multiples, LBO, and DCF modelling
- Research and analysis of market and business value drivers
- Profiling potential acquisition targets and buyers, presenting strategic rationale
- Crafting pitch documentation and client reports
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Actively building a network of professional relationships with intermediaries, private equity firms, and clients
- Ideally be a qualified accountant (or equivalent)
- Have at least 3 years' post qualification experience in M&A. This could have been within a Big 4/professional services firm, investment bank/boutique or corporate.
- Have a strong grasp of either healthcare, life sciences or pharma (or all three) or at least have a demonstrable passion for the sector
- Have the ability to pick up technical concepts and information quickly
- Be able to quickly build rapport and develop relationships with clients, individuals and organisations

We are working with a London based Healthcare/Life Sciences M&A team which is looking for a Manager.
The team works across the healthcare, life sciences and pharma spaces, advising entrepreneurs, corporates, management teams and private equity firms. Transactions typically sit between £25m - £150m on both the buy-side and sell-side with a higher number of buy-side mandates.
With a busy start to the year and a strong pipeline, the team are looking for a Manager as part of their growth strategy. They anticipate at at least doubling the business in the next 12 months and have ambitious plans for the coming 3-4 years, so now it the time to join and be a part of the story.
