Oliver McGowen Training Administrator
£13,333 per annum pro-rata salary based on 20 hours/week. Full time equivalent £25,000 per annum.

12 months fixed contract.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Deal with general day to day enquiries from managers and staff in the Oliver McGowan team, acting as first point of contact for enquiries around Tier 1 and Tier 2 training. Seeking advice from the Lead Trainer/Training Manager as required.
  • To be familiar with the Oliver McGowan ICB contract providing straightforward guidance on the Oliver McGowan training levels and Autism Bedfordshire's offer to NHS partners and commercial enquiries. To know when to escalate queries to the relevant person within the team.
  • Maintain an annual plan of Tier 1 and Tier 2 training dates liaising with NHS partners to maintain accurate information on venues.
  • Coordinate training events ensuring all relevant documentation is available and sent to delegates ahead of the training with joining instructions.
  • Support Experts with Lived Experience in confirming dates and session times they are working. Provide them with joining instructions/webinar registration links for face to face and online training sessions.
  • Update attendance records as required and reporting data to managers/training leads.
  • Maintaining training records ensuring that all relevant documentation is scanned & filed promptly and correctly.
  • Providing adhoc administrative support as required.

Person specification

  • Training/Administration experience desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of using Eventbrite and Teams to coordinate training sessions and manage bookings
  • Demonstrable experience in an administrative post.
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Welldeveloped skills in Word and Excel
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Responsible and serviceorientated
  • Attention to detail
  • Commitment to staff development
