    Description

    A school in Gateshead (NE9) are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis to work 2:1 with a child in their reception class.

    This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of reception-aged children.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide two-to-one support a pupil who requires additional assistance with their learning.
    Assist with the preparation of learning resources and materials.
    Support the social and emotional development of pupils, promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
    Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
    Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress and achievement

    Requirements:
    Minimum Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or CACHE Level 3 in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
    Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting is desirable.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
    A passion for working with young children and supporting their educational development.
    Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges.
    Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
    A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom
