Think Accountancy and Finance are seeking a Financial Accountant/Controller based in Watford.


The purpose of the role will be to ensure that financial information is correctly accounted for and reported in a timely manner.

As well as maintain balance sheet control to ensure predictable financial reporting.

This role is flexible, but most people work 4 days in the office.


Duties include:

  • Management accounts
  • Balance sheet control and reconciliations
  • Assist with the year end audit.
  • Working with key external stakeholders
  • Establish strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Query resolution
  • EBITDA
  • P&L reporting
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Support wider finance team goals and initiatives.
  • Strong technical Accounting skills
  • PQ or Qualified or QBE
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with team members
  • Team player
  • Self starter with a strong desire for personal and team development.
