Early Years Officer – Camelon Early Learning and Childcare Centre

An opportunity has arisen for two Early Years Officers to join the Early Learning and Childcare Team at Camelon Early Learning and Childcare Centre. Please note one position is permanent and one is temporary to cover a maternity leave.

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors. You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families.

You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures. With experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

Post 1 is full time, full year (ie not term time) and is permanent.

Post 2 is full time, full year (not term time) and is temporary to cover maternity leave until 31st March initially.

Please note the ELC Centre is open from 8am and 6pm and you will be required to work a shift pattern between these hours.
