Your Role:


  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories for each job.
  • Program and edit CNC machine code to optimise production processes.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
  • Perform inprocess inspections and use measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to address design and manufacturing challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used and machine settings.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to create a secure working environment.

You:


  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a minimum of 2 years in precision machining.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and the ability to edit programs as needed.
  • Expertise in setting up and operating CNC milling and turning machines.
  • Familiarity with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
