We have a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Bowthorpe Care Village working on a permanent, part-time basis working 28 hours per week across a two-week rota:

Week 1:
Tues 08:30-16:00, Wed 08:30-16:00, Sat 08:30-16:00 & Sun 08:30-16:00

Week 2:
Mon 07:30-15:00, Tues 07:30-15:00, Thurs 08:30-16:00 & Fri 08:30-16:00

Main Responsibilities include:

Preparing fruit, vegetables and salads for meal services, as well as any other cooking responsibilities directed by the Cook Manager.
Maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness across the kitchen and service areas.
Setting up of services areas and tidying away when service is complete.
Providing a helpful and enjoyable mealtime service for all residents delivery an excellent customer service experience.

What we are looking for from you:
Although previous catering experience would be an advantage, our extensive induction and excellent training programmes means that if you enjoy cooking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment
