An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Trust as a Band 5 Executive Assistant as part of Lambeth Together, which is an integrated local care partnership.

Lambeth Together unites a wide range of partners from the voluntary and community sectors, NHS, and Lambeth Council.

It focuses on creating an integrated health and care system that addresses the needs of the local population effectively and equitably.

Central to its operation are the Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Alliance and the Children and Young People Alliance. These alliances work toward enhancing community health, supporting individuals through a more cohesive and connected approach to care.

This post is critical to supporting these alliances and will ensure the efficient management and coordination of their activities. Whilst hosted within the Trust, this post is uniquely orientated toward supporting the transformative work of Lambeth Together.

T his arrangement ensures that the role is deeply integrated into the fabric of community health improvement, benefiting from the Trust's infrastructure and support while focusing on the specific objectives and leadership directives of the Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Alliance and the Children and Young People Alliance.

Interviews are provisionally set for 4 June 2024.


To provide comprehensive executive assistant and business support to the Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Alliance and the Children and Young People Alliance within Lambeth Together.


T his role is crucial for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and the smooth functioning of the directors' offices, facilitating effective internal and external communications.


The post holder will contribute significantly to the success of both alliances by supporting a wide range of activities, from administrative tasks to project coordination.


Additionally, the role involves participating in cross-cover arrangements with other executive assistants within the senior leadership team and the Lambeth Business Support Administration Team, guaranteeing consistent support across the leadership spectrum at all times.

Meetings and Business Support

Co-ordination and planning of the directors' activities and resolving complex and conflicting commitments requiring resolution.

Extensive diary management. Arranging meetings and appointments via the calendar system with both external and internal personnel. This will include liaison with internal, external and government departments, and other health and care related organisations.


Developing and implementing effective systems and strategies to manage the activities, heavy workload and efficient use of time of the directors.

Providing diary and meeting coordination support to the senior management team within the directors' office.

Providing coordination and planning of the monthly Alliance programme boards, including agendas, minute taking and action tracking.


Providing a high level of support to other relevant meetings, including compiling agendas and taking and preparing accurate and comprehensive minutes and action logs.

Planning and co-ordinating events such as away days and conferences.

Organising travel and accommodation arrangements for the directors and other senior team members.


Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and drafting responses as necessary, including enquiries from internal and external sources, including the Department of Health, the Trust's regulators and Integrated Care Boards, Lambeth Council, the GMC, and other NHS Trusts.

Preparing documents, presentations and speech material using the agreed format
