Description

Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced *Female Healthcare Assistant* to support a young man in Wellington, Somerset who has Cerebral Palsy.

He also has epilepsy, learning disability, severe visual impairment, and severe reflux.

This young man lives on an old farm that breeds birds with his parents and younger brother who are lovely and friendly.

He enjoys going swimming and being outdoors. He also loves to interact with animals.

The ideal candidate would be a resilient, seasoned carer with a solid understanding of personal care, and experience with moving and handling.

It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need.

This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. *Training is paid for.

80 p/hr Monday - Thursday £05 p/hr Saturday - Sunday £05 p/hr Bank Holidays_We offer the option to be paid __Weekly __or __Monthly__

Shifts:

8pm – 8am, 7 Nights Per Week Available
It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. While there are lots of work opportunities within Ocean Healthcare, the terms detailed in this job advert are specific ONLY to this package of care. Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.

You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
