An opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join a market-leading food wholesaler and distributor, you'll focus on developing business across specialised sectors including healthcare, education, pubs, hotels, hospitality and leisure covering the south Wales, Herefordshire and Gloucester.
Responsibilities of aKey Account Manager:
To win, retain and develop new customers and grow existing customer share of wallet, including group consortia and regional accounts.
To work closely with the telesales teams, category specialists, NAMs and suppliers to create leadsYou'll convert customers using strong sales and negotiation skills through the delivery of value-added initiatives and solutions to meet a wide range of customer needs.
You'll bring determination, tenacity and a genuine passion for all things food-related to get in front of hard-to-reach decision makers, and the flexible and results-driven approach required to convert them.
Field based key account management/new business experience managing a multi-million-pound ledgerA track record of exceeding sales revenue and profit targets

On offer is a basic salary of £40,425, an OTE of £15 - £18,000, car allowance £6,600, 25 days holiday, contributory pension plus many more corporate benefits.
