An opportunity has arisen to become part of our Organisational Learning team as a Training Specialist.Providing learning material and training courses to the wider organisation, ensuring that effective and accurate information is being delivered to the relevant stakeholders.
In this role there are many opportunities for you to broaden your skillset and expertise by gaining further knowledge in other specialist areas, such as, Health & Safety, Security, Explosive Safety, Manual Handling, etc.
Advancement in the learning and development sphere as well as the opportunity to gain professional qualifications to strengthen your proficiency.
Please note that weekly attendance to site is required for this role and there may be occasional requirement to attend other DM sites across the UK.
If you are shortlisted, you will:
- Be asked to attend an interview to have a more in-depth discussion about your experience and suitability for the role.
- Attend an interview on the 16th or 17th of March that will be a blend of behaviour and technical questions.
- Need to prepare and deliver a presentation based around the topic of safety.
- More information will be provided closer to the time of your interview.
About the role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design and deliver learning interventions in line with organisational education & training requirements (F2F and Virtual).
- Act as a point of contact for education and training within your specific area of responsibility.
- Coordinate with customers and appropriate stakeholders in order to produce, agree and facilitate delivery plans.
- Administrative duties such as, supporting the management teams by supplying accurate information regarding training programs, reviewing lesson content to establish whether the material is fit for purpose.
- Deliver training material to stakeholders mainly focusing on your learning specialism while becoming educated in other areas to support the wider team as and when necessary.
- Manage and prioritise your diary and workload to ensure effective delivery to all stakeholders and timely completion on requested tasks.
- Liaise with the site focal point to identify organisational training requirements.
Person specification:
- Hold a valid instructor or training qualification
