£ £13.50 per hour

The School and Role

I have a full-time, long-term position available for a Teaching Assistant in a brand new school committed to learning for pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

This is likely to become a permanent teaching assistant position as the school is currently expanding.

This independent special school provides a creative, individualised learning programme that engages children through their school journey.

They are very proud of the emphasis they place on creativity and welcome teaching assistants from a range of educational, care and support work backgrounds.

Children are encouraged to develop the core skills needed in life and learning in this inspiring environment with stunning grounds.

School hours for a teaching assistant are Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 4:30, term-time only.

Requirements:

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:

Be passionate, proactive and dedicated about improving learning for children.
Have the ability to work with children with a range of additional and complex needs.
Have good communication skills.
Be patient, enthusiastic and resilient.
