Description

Leicestershire County Council are looking for a dynamic professional to play a key role in ensuring that Public Health services are fit for purpose within the Leicestershire and Rutland community.

You will provide direction and technical/professional guidance to members of the Public Health team ensuring that commissioned services adhere to contractual terms and conditions.

Managing performance and working to the authorities Contract Management Framework as well as ensuring internal and shared assurance systems and processes for quality in commissioned services meet national and legal requirements and are fit for purpose are key elements of this role

.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Procedural knowledge of planning, commissioning (including contract negotiation) and performance management processes and cycles
  • Indepth knowledge and a track record of successful commissioning/contracting services to meet identified needs and key targets
  • Quality improvement knowledge and experience including undertaking a quality inspection
  • Sound report writing skills demonstrating a capacity to produce high quality briefing papers, management summaries and high level reports

This post will be predominantly working from home however, there will be expectations to travel to locations within the County when required.
