    The Role

    An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Secretary (Relief) within University Hospital Hairmyres. The Clinical Secretary will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently, working in accordance with standard operating procedures.

    What we'll need you to bring

  • SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus at least 2 years experience in healthcare administration or at least 3 years experience in a secretarial role
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
  • Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
  • Audio typing skills
  • Contract type

    Location and Working Pattern

    This role will be based in Medical Services within University Hospital Hairmyres

    The working pattern for this role Monday to Friday 8am/8.30am to 4pm/4.30pm with an early finish on one day (negotiable)
