Description
PCB Design Engineer - Gloucestershire - £50,000 - £65,000 paI'm working with a manufacturer who specialises in Unmanned systems for government and military use, specialising in Drone technology.
They are looking for an experienced a PCB Design Engineer who can work autonomously and join their R & D team.
Responsibilities:
PCB Design and Layout:
Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for UAV control systems and related electronics.
Full PCB Layout of a range of technologies and boards (simple, complex multi-layer, rigid/flexi-rigid, surface mount, RF etc.)
Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the successful fabrication and assembly of PCBs
Prototype Development:
Build and test prototypes to validate and iterate on PCB designs.
Troubleshoot and debug electronic systems to identify and resolve issues.
Conduct design reviews and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
Key Skills & Experience:
Degree In Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalentComplex, multi-layer PCB DesignHigh Speed CircuitsProficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium DesignerStrong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
