We are looking for an experienced, dedicated individual to join our Civil serviceteam to be responsible for the quality assurance of the full learner journey including where qualifications are present, supporting the area managers in the implementation ofthe sector-based curriculum across all programmes and improving both the teaching and training as well as the technical and occupational competence of Coaches over time.

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver role specific sectorbased training and assess qualifications as part of a Coaches on boarding plan
  • Plan quality assurance activities for all Coaches including observations across the whole of the learner journey including induction, on programme teaching, training and assessment and EPA preparation
  • Carry out qualification and English speaking and listening sampling as required and as per awarding organisation requirements, in line with the sampling strategy
  • Carry out deep dives on portfolios and sampling of mock assessments and then implement appropriate coaching to support Coaches in progressing learners timely and against starting points
  • Implement, evaluate, and improve the delivery of curriculum including the broader curriculum and review resource usage ensuring it remains sector relevant
  • Maintain accurate records of all quality assurance activity inline with the Quality strategy and external organisation requirements as well as maintaining the single central record for all Coaches

What will you bring to the role?

  • Sector specific occupational competence
  • Assessing qualification (CAVA or equivalent)
  • Internal Quality Assurance qualification (IQA or equivalent) when required within the sector
  • Teaching qualification at level 5 or commitment to work towards
  • Functional Skills level 2 in Maths, English and ICT or equivalent
  • Experience of planning and delivering quality assurance activities
  • Experience within a WBL / educational environment in the delivery of apprenticeship standards
  • Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and selfmotivation skills
  • Experience of working autonomously
