Senior Financial Accountant - Financial Services - City of London - £65k-£70k + 20% bonus + Remote Working (1-2 days in the office max)

Cedar is partnered with a high growth, acquisitive wealth management business that is looking to bring in an experienced financial accountant to help strengthen their group reporting function as they look to consolidate and drive efficiency since makinga number of deals across the UK.

This will be ideal for somebody from an audit/practice background or somebody already in a hands-on Financial Accountant role within Financial Services looking to undertake a new challenge and have the flexibility to work from home for 4 days a week.

Responsibilities:

Accounting assessments for new acquisitions
Consolidation of group financial information
Implementation of accounting policies for the Group under FRS 10
Management reporting
Preparation of Financial information for various business segments and Group boards.
Preparation of budgets and ongoing monitoring of performance compared to budget.
Ownership of accounting control environment and procedures assessment and documentation
Support process improvement projects and other adhoc project work
Intangible and impairment accounting
Risk and Accounting System / Automation
