    As a Family Link Worker, you will work closely with healthcare services, the prison, and other agencies.

    The service will be delivered in custody providing family focused casework for prisoners on healthcare pathways and will focus primarily on supporting prisoners in making/maintaining contact with family members in support of their health needs.

    This is a fixed-term contract until April 2026, with potential for an additional 2-year extension.

    To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience and understanding of working with families and health services in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally involving prisoners and/or their families.

    You will have the ability to develop referral pathways for families, prisoners, and other professionals to access services, with a specific focus on healthcare.

    This post is subject to a 6-month probationary period, verification of identity and proven right to work in the UK, satisfactory references from previous employers covering a 3-year period, declaration of any unspent criminal convictions (and where appropriate a satisfactory risk assessment), Prison Vetting and a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

    If you have lived overseas for a period of 12 months or more (in the past 10 years while aged 18 or over), we will also require a certificate of good conduct from the Police Force of the country of residence.
