Finance Administrator
We require an enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our Finance Team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Administrator will have the following tasks to undertake:

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Weekly Payroll

  • Process weekly wages for > 230 colleagues
  • Produce weekly wages payment file to a deadline.
  • Produce payslips via Sage to a deadline.
  • Maintain weekly Wages Consolidation excel sheet to a deadline.
  • The weekly wage's role is shared with colleagues and rotated on a 4week basis.
  • Processing of weekly wages holiday cover over and above the cycle noted
above.

Other Tasks

  • Invoice Finance provide cover for daily, weekly and monthly procedures.
  • Posting and reconciling of customer receipts.
  • Processing supplier payments.
  • Updating cash books.
  • Processing disputed debit notes
  • Petty cash control and administration
  • Sales commissions: invoicing and accruals.
  • Credit Card analysis, reconciliations & journal
  • Raw material (ethanol and LPG) trackers and reconciliations
  • Auditor requests bank, invoice financing and financial auditors
  • Ad hoc tasks

Key Competencies:

  • Experience in a similar Finance role, especially payroll.
  • Educated to HNC level in Accounting or similar preferable
  • Proficient in the use of Accounting Software e.g. SAP, MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities & work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail & accuracy

Salary:
£22,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
