This is an exciting opportunity for a locum pharmacist to join our dynamic and friendly team on a 6-month Locum contract.

We offer excellent hourly rates and benefits, and the opportunity to work with a first class private hospital that is committed to providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Dispense and supply medication in accordance with legal and professional requirements
Provide clinical and therapeutic advice to patients and healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate records of dispensing and patient medication history
Manage inventory and ordering of medications and supplies
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive healthcare service to patients
Provide support to pharmacy technicians and trainees as required
Ensure that the pharmacy is compliant with regulatory requirements and health and safety standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits

Qualifications and Experience:

Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
At least 2 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Familiarity with computerized pharmacy systems
