- Relevant degree or similar level technical qualification e.g., Engineering, Building Surveying, Architecture
- Has in depth knowledge of new build residential development and building techniques
- IT literate with an understanding of construction programming software and strong capability using MS packages
- An eye for detail and the ability to understand the overall view of New Homes
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to translate complex information into practical understanding to drive decision making

Role:Head of Pre-Construction
Contract type: Initially a 6 month (to 12 month) contract with possibility of transferring to a permanent position
Reporting to: Group Operations Director
Location: Bristol or Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton
Working arrangements: Flexible working between office (Bristol or Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton), home and site working - depending on location of candidate
Geographical region: Bristol, Cotswolds/Gloucestershire and South Midlands

To lead a team to accurately assess both technically and financially all land led opportunities prior to and during acquisition. To develop, lead and manage the process of taking land led schemes from contract exchange through planning and remediation to effective controlled and safe commencement of construction on site.
