Site Technician - Permanent/Term Time - 15 hours per week, (9:00am - 12:00 noon) plus 3 weeks to include the first and last week of the summer holidays.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Site Technician preferably to start Monday 3rd June 2024 or as soon as possible after this date. The role of the Site Technician is to provide efficient and effective caretaking support, ensuring the general site and security is maintained in accordance with school requirements. The person appointed will also act as a key holder.

The successful applicant will:

be skilled in basic joinery, plumbing, decoration and minor repair works;

have experience of site maintenance or similar;

willingness to follow all necessary school policies and statutory requirements;

have the ability to plan and organise their own time;

be willing to work flexibly to cover outside normal school hours, holidays and emergency call outs;

liaise with external contractors on site;

be confident to use own initiative to ensure continued smooth running of the school site;

be willing to undertake appropriate training as required.

The above is a brief overview of resposibilities related to the post. Training and support will be provided as necessary.
