A fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Operative to join an established team within a busy organisation based in Aberdeen on a temporary basis.

The primary focus of this position is to maintain the smooth running of the workshop, assisting in the receiving and dispatching of freight into and out of the workshop and yard and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Picking, packing and labelling of goods
  • Assisting in the receiving and dispatching of freight
  • Consolidating, repacking and weighing freight
  • Accurately inputting data on computerbased system, and updating information when required
  • Communicating effectively with other departments
  • Practicing good housekeeping, and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse
  • Adhere to company health & safety, and compliance
  • Use of forklift

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Forklift License (essential)
  • Previous workshop experience
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
