    Description

    H9 Technical Recruitment are exclusively partnered with a Global Renewable Energy Company who develop, build and operate Solar PV and BESS projects across the world.

    We are looking to hire a Land Acquisition Manager to be responsible for generating, executing and following up on land contracts necessary for the processing of the company's projects.


    Role and Responsibilities:
    Sourcing and identifying land suitable for the development of RES (Renewable Energy Sources) projects.
    Identify new land acquisition or leasing opportunities that align with the company's strategy and objectives.
    Preliminary analysis of the identified land (environmental, urban planning, legalisation).
    Study the planning and regulations for each area.
    Develop and maintain a network of local partners for land search, such as land brokers or similar.
    Negotiate and sign with the landowner the lease of the land.
    Commercial management of signed land contracts (invoices, payments, renewals)
    Support the legal department for the notarisation and registration of the contracts in the registers.

    Make the first contact with the local councils where the land will be located to validate the suitability of the land for urban planning regulation purposes.

    Obtain feedback of the willingness of the community
    Develop and maintain a strong network of relationships with authorities, agencies, municipalities, associations and landowners.
    Being able to identify main constraints of the sites, not only at an environmental level, but at a planning perspective (need for an access to the site, greenbelt areas, flood risk level 2 and above)
    Working in conjunction with the project development and processing area


    Skills and Qualifications:
    Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record in negotiation with landowners on-site.
    Negotiating rural land for other purposes is an advantage.
    Degree on Urban / Territorial Planning is an advantage
