Consumer Additions are currently partnering with a
Wine and Spirits business who are looking for a
Credit Controller to join their
London-based finance team.

Working with a privately owned and one of the oldest and best-known wine merchants in the world.

The business is quintessentially British with a long history of trading - selling through wholesale, retail, and e-commerce as well as enabling clients to "trade"wine as a commodity, storing it in their bonded warehouses.

They are recruiting on a
6-month basis with the potential to extend due to a large project they are undertaking.

As part of the team, you will focus on aged debt for their private client's ledger. This will involve proactive chasing, resolvingqueries over the phone, and dealing with internal account managers.

Ideally suited for someone with a proactive mindset, professional phone manner, and strong teamwork skills, this is a great opportunity to join an esteemed and growing business.

Responsibilities include:

Aged Debt Management

Ledger includes private & business customers

E-Shots

Work with the Credit Controllers to send out eShots to various groups of customers as required throughout the

Team E-Mail Inboxes

Unassigned Accounts

Assist with investigation into customer debts where no account manager has been assigned

Legacy Project

Use a Credit Agency to obtain data to help identify if customers are still trading

Customer Credit Card Consent Files

Ensure the customer stored Credit Card Files are up to date with valid expiry date to auto charge

Key Requirements:

Experience of working within accounts collections environment whether its Accounts Receivable or Credit Control
Have used SAP to manage and monitor debtor's ledger
Can follow processes
Proven record of going the extra mile to deliver exceptional service
Have worked within High Net Worth / Private Client environment
