Description

We are recruiting for a variety of roles with various hours available.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are essential to maintaining hygienic and clean environments for patients staff and visitors throughout the hospital.

Various hours ranging from 9 to 22.5 per week

Please note there are no full time positions available.

These hours are for late afternoon and evenings only

Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
The catering responsibilities may include (eg)

Take patient food orders onto a electronic tablet

Liaise with the central production unit for any specific catering matters and receive and load kitchen oven for regeneration

Plate meals for patients as per order and dietary needs

Serve hot and cold beverages

Cleaning of the kitchen including using a dishwasher

You will work with the Ward Team, in partnership with the Hotel Services Supervisor, and Departmental supervision and management to contribute to the maintenance of a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors to ensure the highest standards are met at all times.

To ensure, in conjunction with the Hotel Services Supervisor or Ward Manager, that patients are provided with appropriate food and beverages at the agreed regular intervals throughout the day.
