An exciting, rewarding role has emerged at Mires Beck Nursery who are looking to hire a enthusiastic and fun Training Officer Apprentice to join their growing team.


As a Training Officer Apprentice you will be helping book and schedule all necessary compliance training for all members of staff.

The role is perfect for anyone who wants a rewarding and fulfilling job who loves helping others.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure the staff are scheduled and complete necessary compliance training within our service delivery for adult social care.
To update and develop the training matrix with completed tasks and renewal dates are booked in for the future.
To encourage the staff and volunteers with opportunity for further Social Therapeutic horticultural training and book.
To schedule training for specific H&S requirements for the Estates team.
To book courses for staff development as approved by HR Manager post appraisals.
To check all training costs if applied sit within given budget.
To organise 'offsite' training when required and complete/obtain risk assessment with necessary Manager for the location.
To work with service user trainer to schedule 1:1/1:2 sessions for horticultural training.
To help with induction training delivery for volunteers.
To plan annual celebration day to allocate certificates for staff and service users.
To help organise guest speakers and facilities to showcase our area of care during annual closure week.
To undertake appropriate, and mutually agreed, courses of training.
To report monthly to the HR Manager the statistics on training hours.
To back fill operations staff whilst they attend online training.
To help programme transition training opportunities for SEN schools to demonstrate what we do at Mires Beck.

To help plan business volunteering days to allow people to learn a new skill or improve horticulture knowledge from choosing time at the nursery.

To help develop a Tree Training offer to educate volunteers and young people as events in line with habitat funding partners.
