About the job:

Kent is looking for a Technical Coordinator to support the Asset Integrity team in Aberdeen.

You will be part of a growing multi-discipline Asset Integrity team supporting a wide range of clients both in the North Sea region and globally.

You will continually be learning new skills and working with different experts to help shape your development.


The team provides specialist support and input into bidding/tendering for work from new and existing clients as well as leading discipline specific scopes in your relevant area of expertise.

Additionally, the team provides support to clients with their day-to-day integrity issues, finding innovative and robust solutions to allow for safe continued operation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Working as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team you will be responsible for completing allocated tasks and liaising with other technical colleagues and client representatives as required.
  • Delivering against relevant internal and external client deadlines to a high standard of accuracy and quality.
  • Updating asset registers & databases, e.g., line lists, piping registers, anomaly registers, etc.
  • Maintaining integrity management documentation.
  • Providing input to preparation of deliverables by engineers.
  • Managing technical project documentation and preparing ad hoc progress reports as required.
  • Formatting of bids, proposal documentation and work packs.
  • Preparing charts, graphs and PowerPoint presentations and assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
  • Attend, minute take and actively participate in the daily huddle and weekly meetings.
  • Monitor Asset Integrity mailbox and respond accordingly to queries and requests.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:


  • Experience in a similar position in the Oil and Gas/Energy industry is preferred.
  • High level of MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams.
  • Experience with typical industry client systems, e.g. JDE, SAP, Maximo, COABIS, etc is desirable
  • Effective communicator with ability to liaise with client contacts, including sitebased personnel, technical discipline staff and project management.
  • Positive, friendly, and approachable attitude, willing to work as part of a team.
  • Selfmotivated & comfortable taking responsibility across a range of tasks.
  • Organised and methodical in your approach to project work.
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
