Are you a proactive and reliable individual seeking a temporary opportunity with the potential for a permanent position based on performance and business needs? Join our client as a Temporary Warehouse Operative and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods during a busy period.

As a Temporary Warehouse Operative, you will be an integral part of the logistics team, supporting the efficient movement and storage of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from trucks and containers.
Pick and pack orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
Wrapping of pallets
Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
Reworking faulty/damaged product to a high standard.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as Reach Truck following safety guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to organise and maintain an efficient warehouse space.
Perform routine inventory counts and update records accordingly.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and organised.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Experience of using hand tools.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
Reliable and punctual with good time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of basic inventory management principles.
