**Fixed term contract for 2 years | £17,705.05 to £18,630.50 per annum (Scale J) | 18.5 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

Norfolk County Council are closely working with the Integrated Care Board and have been successful in securing funding for a two-year project working with the existing Moving and Handling Advisory Team.

We are looking for experienced level 2 Occupational Therapist, Nurse or physiotherapist with a Train the Trainer qualification or experience in the delivery of moving and handling training.

The existing team will be growing and with the aims to increase optimising handling solutions for our service users across the local care system.

The purpose of the role will be to support the moving and handling team with the delivery of optimising care/moving and handling training and to occupational therapy teams across the county.

Deliver optimising care/moving and handling training to independent sector and informal carers. Undertake training of equipment in service users homes. Recommend potential changes in equipment prescription.

The role will be for a 2 year term and will offer a fantastic opportunity to work with an established team of moving and handling practitioners.
