    As Retail and Hospitality Associate, you'll work closely with the Cafe Manager to ensure seamless setup and breakdown of event food and drink experiences. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing, presenting, and delivering catering requirements to meet both company standards and client satisfaction.

    As Café & Event Associate, your role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, from coffee and espresso drinks to refreshing teas, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. You'll also serve delectable ready-to-eat foods like pastries, bagels, sandwiches, and salads, always with a warm and friendly demeanour.

    Flexibility is key in this role, as you'll be expected to adapt to the day-to-day business needs and support the team whenever necessary.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure the food and drink offer is the first choice for our members and event attendees o Receive, process, prepare and deliver food and drink orders
    • Keep the service and back of house areas in a clean and safe condition
    • Stay on top of trends and discuss these with your manager
    • Know the offer inside out, and be able to make informed recommendations to our clients
    • Pre-empt the needs of our customers and create meaningful and memorable experiences
    • Keep our team, visitors' and clients safe with our safety-first mentality, using the safety tools available to you
    • Oversee the standard and quality of all food & drink; you and the team will serve as the final quality check for everything that is served and delivered to our customers
    • Keep your ear close to the ground Tell us what the customer wants and how we keep our clients happy and coming back

    Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

    • 2 years' experience in a range of premium high-end food and drink destinations
    • Previous hospitality and event experience
    • Must be able to identify and resolve issues and challenges to meet and exceed the expectations of our client
