About the Role:


In partnership with the local Primary Care Networks (PCN), GP Healthcare Alliance (a federation of GP practices in Castle Point and Rochford) is seeking to appoint an Advanced Clinical Practitioner/ Clinical Team Leader to manage the growing clinical workforce within Rochford District Primary Care Network (PCN).

This role will work in partnership with the Head of PCN Development and the Clinical Director with the developments of the clinical team.

This role will be responsible for a varied Clinical Team within Rochford District PCN, including:

  • Clinical Pharmacists
  • Physician Associates
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner
  • Paramedics
  • Health Care Assistant
  • Nurse Practitioner
  • Pharmacy Technician
This role will be split between a mixture of clinical work and clinical supervision to the staff.

This is a full-time post working 37.

5 hours per week covering Rochford District PCN which is made up of the following practices:


  • Ashingdon Medical Centre
  • The Practice Leecon Way
  • The Puzey Family Practice
  • Wakering Medical Centre
The successful individual will have experience in leadership, clinical team development and offer supervision to the clinical team.

This role will also be responsible for overseeing any clinical risks/incidents/serious incidents and complaints for the PCN liaising with the Clinical Director as appropriate.


The successful applicant must be:

  • Working within a clinical role at an advanced level.
  • Be an independent medical prescriber.
  • Extensive experience of leadership/clinical management.
