    Conference & Events Manager - Cardiff

    An excellent opportunity is available at voco St David's Cardiff, for a Conference & Events Manager to join the 5-star hotel located in Cardiff Bay. Our Conference & Events Manager oversees the efficient operation of the hotel's event teams, ensuring impeccable service to exceed guest expectations consistently.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Manage daily operations, ensuring hands-on support for key meetings, events, and conferences with a focus on delivering 5-star customer service.
    • Supervise staffing levels, control labor costs, and maintain high standards for all events.
    • Review function sheets, menus, and room layouts to ensure successful event operations and exceptional guest experiences.
    • Develop and mentor a dynamic workforce, fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Collaborate with the Meetings & Events Sales team to enhance the planning process and improve guest experiences.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of management experience in Conference & Events Operations at a 4/5* property
    • Demonstrated ability to oversee various event types and manage operational systems effectively.
    • Familiarity with M&E systems such as Delphi, Micros Simphony, and Quinyx.
