Description
Family owned manufacturing organisation (established 1983) requires an experienced
Administration Assistant to join their rapidly expanding company.

As
Administration Assistantyou will be providing administrative support to Accounts/Office Manager, acting as first point of contact for customer enquiries within a busy manufacturing environment.


The role of
Administration Assistant is offered on a permanent contract basis with competitive salary, pension and early finish Fridays.


Administration Assistant duties include:


  • Point of contact for visitors
  • Directing calls to appropriate personnel
  • Logging customer orders on company scheduling system
  • Maintaining schedule and processing orders
  • Accounts administration support
  • Maintaining filing systems, office policies and procedures
  • Ad hoc duties as requested
Skills and attributes required for the role of
Administration Assistant:

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (advantageous, not essential)
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems e.g. SAP (advantageous, not essential)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (
    Excel and
    Word, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Flexible attitude

Location:
Alcester, Warwickshire


Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 7:00 - 16:00 and Friday 7:00 - 13:00


Salary:
£20,800 p.a. to £22,880 p.a. dependent upon experience
